Your ProPave driveway and patio is easy to maintain
with a little periodic cleaning, and will look beautiful
for many years.
Maintenance:
For general cleaning of dirt and algae brushing with a stiff broom and with
lots of hot detergent (eg. washing up liquid) will work very well. Rinse
off with plenty of clean water. Care should be taken when buying cleaning
products as they may contain corrosive agents that may adversely affect the
appearance of some concrete products.
For areas under trees or shaded areas
more regular cleaning may be required. Avoid prolonged
contact with wet leaves as this can result in staining
of paved areas.
High pressure washing:
Power washing with high pressure equipment should not be necessary if your
paving is regularly maintained. The following guidelines should be followed
if you wish to use this type of equipment:
1.Sweep paving thoroughly;
2.Trial a small area to start;
3.Apply medium pressure only;
4.Angle the hose to the surface at least 10” away;
5.Re-sand joints if appropriate;
6.Re-point joints if mortar is damaged. All our
work has a full 5 year guarantee, which can be renewed annually
thereafter.
